Therapeutic Horsemanship

Our Horsemanship program incorporates our equine friends just as importantly as our riding programs do, but just a little bit differently. This program is specifically unmounted and offers our students a very unique opportunity to create a meaningful relationship with their equine companion while learning important hands-on equine husbandry skills. These ground lessons provide the chance to learn and develop a strong sense of equine care and knowledge, develop barn skills and learn responsibilities, understand the social behaviors of our equine friends in different situations and settings, and learn safe horse-handling practices while being charge and delegating your equine partner.
